Shademaster Honey Locust   $29.95

Shademaster Honey Locust tree, Gleditsia triacanthos inermis, 'Shademaster' Honey locust, may also be called sweet-locust or thorny-locust. This deciduous tree is a moderately fast growing tree commonly found on moist bottom lands or limestone soils. It has a more or less rectangular outline formed by upright ascending branches which then spread horizontally. leaves are fine textured, medium green in color and seldom need raking because of their fine texture.

Sunburst Honey Locust   $29.95

Sunburst Honey locust tree, Gleditsia triacanthos inermis, 'Sunburst', is smaller in stature than common Honey locust tree. Sunburst Honey locust trees display yellow new growth, and yellow leaves persists throughout season. wood is dense, hard, and durable. leaves are divided into many small, oval leaflets giving a fern-like appearance to foliage; leaves are normally green, but 'Sunburst' cultivar has light yellow leaves. Does best in moist bottomlands or soils with high pH. Prefers full sun.

Thornless Honeylocust   $13.95

Thornless Honeylocust tree, Gleditsia Triacanthos, is fast growing as a young tree and will grow 2’ or more a year over a 10-year period. Readily transplanted, it withstands a wide range of conditions although it reaches maximum development on rich, moist bottomlands or on soils of a limestone origin. This deciduous tree is tolerant of drought conditions, high pH, and is salt tolerant. Thornless Honeylocust trees are an excellent lawn tree for filtered shade.

Black Locust   $21.95

Black Locust tree, Robinia pseudoacacia, is sometimes called yellow locust. Black Locust trees grow naturally on a wide range of sites but does best on rich moist limestone soils. It has escaped cultivation and become naturalized throughout eastern North America and parts of West. . It is widely planted as an ornamental, for shelterbelts, and for land reclamation. It is a very thorny tree which can attain a height of 70-80 feet and can have a diameter of 2-3 feet.
