Its dense canopy of fine leaf blades creates a very soft carpet which is perfect for lawn activities. It has a dark blue-green color and only grows 3 to 5 inches high. It's lush and soft while at the same time durable and hardy. Legacy Buffalo Grass was developed to have the look of bluegrass with the hardiness of Buffalo grass, and it certainly achieved that aim.
