Veronica - Eveline
$59.90

Purple All Year The Veronica 'Eveline', 'Veronica longifolia 'Eveline' USPP 14888, is one of the newer Veronicas out today. This easy to grow perennial has purplish-pink flower spikes that bloom throughout June to September. The deep green foliage turns a beautiful purple-red in the fall. Truly gorgeous! 'Eveline' must have good drainage and requires low to moderate watering. For best results plant this veronica in full sun. This plant is easy to grow in sunny gardens. Deadheading promotes more blooms. To keep it re-blooming, prune off old flower spikes as they fade. New growth will begin and in a few weeks new flower spikes will emerge. If you are looking for a showy perennial that produces gorgeous purplish-pink flowers for a long period, then this plant is it! Use this plant in containers or in mass plantings. This Veronica is deer resistant and does attract hummingbirds and butterflies. It is heat and cold tolerant. With a plant height of 12-18 and width of 18, it is one not to be more...

Veronica - Georgia Blue
$59.90

The Veronica Speedwell, Georgia Blue, 'Veronica peduncularis 'Georgia Blue', is a spreading plant growing to 8 inches tall with spires of tiny, round, blue flowers in late April-May. This evergreen perennial blooms very early in the spring. It may rebloom throughout the summer. The foliage is reddish-green in spring turning to deep green in summer and finally turning bronze in fall. This spreading plant works well under small perennials and in borders, containers, rock gardens and as a groundcover. The flowers are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. This plant is also salt tolerant so a seaside location would be fine. To keep tidy plants, shear back by 1/2 after flowering. If not cut back in summer, prune down to basal growth in late autumn. This plant makes a beautiful perennial groundcover! And when planted in mass, they are stunning! more...

Veronica - Giles Van Hees
$39.90

Pink Spikes on Compact Sun Lover Veronica Giles Van Hees, Veronica 'Giles Van Hees', has long clusters of bright pink flower spikes that top mounds of dark green foliage, adding lively color to your garden. Veronica 'Giles Van Hees' is a dwarf variety standing only 6 tall, making it a perfect plant for containers or the front of the border. Easy to grow, 'Giles Van Hees' will begin flowering in mid-summer attracting butterflies with its sweet nectar. This perennial is tolerant of a wide range of well-drained soil types. Amending soils, especially very heavy and light types, with generous amounts of organic matter will result in improved performance. Deadheading promotes more blooms. To keep it re-blooming, prune off old flower spikes as they fade. New growth will begin and in a few weeks new flower spikes will emerge. If you are looking for a showy perennial that produces gorgeous pink flowers for a long period, then this plant is it! Use this plant in window boxes and in planters, sma more...

Violet - Etain
$49.90

Fragrant Contrasts Violet Etain, Viola 'Etain', is a newer variety that is becoming very popular because of its long bloom time. The large 1.75 lemon yellow flowers of 'Etain' have beautiful contrasting lavender margins and are incredibly fragrant. It blooms from May through October! Violet Etain is a carefree, low-maintenance miniature variety that produces a multitude of tiny, pansy-like blooms! 'Etain' is a clump-forming type, unlike many other violets which are ground covers. Violets grow best in cool, moist, shady environments. In the north, plants can tolerate full sun but prefer partial to full shade. Shade from deciduous trees is ideal because the plants growing below receive full sun in the spring, followed by protection from the harsh summer sun once the trees get their leaves. If plants are cut back after the first bloom cycle, they will likely bloom again in the fall. Violet Etain performs beautifully in containers and is an excellent choice for window boxes. *Large 1 3/4 L more...
