The Honey Lily, 'Nectaroscordum siculum', a fall planted bulb, is also know as Sicilian Honey Lily or Sicilian Honey Garlic. The Honey Lily produces clusters of gracefully drooping flowers that are white with a maroon streak down each petal and green at the base. The large loose shaded bell-like blooms face downward. When it has flowered the seed heads then do a reverse and face stiffly upwards. The lovely blooms adorn tall stems. Catnip
Nepeta cataria

The Catnip, 'Nepeta cataria', is a plant that will allow you to enjoy a cup of catnip tea while watching your cats frolic in a patch of this fragrant, attractive plant. The tea is very pleasant and has a lemon-mint flavor and fragrance. Along with fresh catnip planted in pots indoors, fresh catnip toys will provide your cats with hours of fun. The tubular flowers are 1/4 to 1/2 inches wide and are massed on spikes. They bloom heavily in early to mid summer with scattered blooming through early fall.Catnip is very hardy and will grow in almost any soil. Catnip prefers full sun and will thrive in hot spots. The Nepeta ‘Walkers Low’, Nepeta faassenii, also known as Catmint, has a low mounding gray-green foliage with deep lavender-blue flowers and is one of the most vividly colored in its family. Blooming from June to September, it has a plant height of 10” and a plant spread of 18-24”. Cutting back ‘Walkers Low’ hard after its first bloom will extend its blooming time.‘Walkers Low’ should be planted in full sun, but can tolerate afternoon shade. It is very drought tolerant but does need a well-drained area. ‘Walkers Low’ makes an excellent border plant, great in rock gardens, good for naturalizing and in an attractive addition to ornamental herb garden. It harmonized beautifully with Penstemon ‘Pike’s Peak Purple.’ Not to mention, ‘Walkers Low’ attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and bees and is a perfect first gardeners perennial.

Catmint - Little Titch

The Catmint 'Little Titch', 'Nepeta 'Little Titch', is one of the smallest in the Catmint family. With a bloom time of May through September, it is more upright and compact than many on the market today. 'Little Titch' requires full sun and will tolerate morning shade. It has a plant height of 8-10" and a plant spread of 12-15". The abundant lavender blue flowers have a light fragrances with mid-green leaves.
