The Incredible F-1 SE/SE Corn is an improved gourmet yellow sweet corn with the quality of late season varieties. The leader of all sweet corns, this incredible variety will keep you buying for years! Its 9 ½" ears are bigger than any other early or mid-season variety we've trailed, with 18 rows of tender, sweet and juicy kernels. Good cold soil emergence and early vigorous growth under less than ideal conditions. Resistant to Stewart's Wilt, Rust and Northern Blight. The tolerance to common rust helps to keep plants healthy, particularly in wet summers. Corn needs a consistent source of water and requires rich soil. Plant corn seeds in a sunny location after the last frost. Sow seeds in at least 4 side by side rows to insure good pollination. Plant every three weeks until early summer. If space is adequate, plant rows of corn in blocks of a minimum of four rows, 2 ½ to 3 feet apart Block planting insures adequate pollination and the rows can be as long as desired.

The Basil Genovese Italian, 'Ocimum basilicum', is widely grown in Italy. Genovese basil has a strong basil flavor and aroma and is a favorite for pesto. There is nothing like the smell of basil. Basil is the smell of summer. Genovese basil will not disappoint the basil lover. It has a particularly strong fragrance and flavor making it excellent for almost any basil dish. Basil has been used for centuries by cooks around the world. Basil is used in salads; with meats, seafood, eggs and cheeses; in soups and breads; and to season vinegars and oils. Plant 1 to 2 weeks after the last average frost date. Place the Basil seeds in well drained soil with lots of organic matter. After 4 to 6 weeks of growth, pinch top to force side growth and prevent early flowering. Cut off any flower stems that appear. Basil should be harvested before the plant flowers. This packet contains 1-160 foot row of seeds. Thats a lot of basil.

Italian Pepperoncini Sweet and Bell Peppers

Italian Pepperoncini Pepper is easy to grow. The green varieties use to be bleached and dried before pickling to get that yellow/green color, but now you simply pick it when it turns on the vine, usually when it reaches 2 to 3" in length. Italian Pepperoncini has lobed fruits that are slightly pointed and are thin walled; ideal for pickling. Pack in jars, cover with white wine vinegar, and cure for 1 to 6 months. This heirloom is from Southern Italy and is a popular small sweet thin pepper. These excellent flavored fruits have a little heat. Plants are bushy and vigorous and fruits ripen from green to red. Provide the plants with rich soil, and they also need regular fertilizing. Pepper plants grow more slowly and are smaller than most tomato plants.
