Maestro Shell Peas
Maestro Shell Pea is a disease-resistant early Green Arrow type. It is very vigorous with vines 24" to 27" long and produces long 3 ½" to 4" pods that fill out only as peas enlarge, eliminating guessing. Maestro is a long-bearing, high-yielding main crop variety. Grow on a trellis or along a fence and harvest continuously when ripe to encourage greater yields. Select a site with full sun and well-drained soil. Plant pea seed early in spring as soon as the soil can be worked, and harvest before hot, early summer days occur. Peas prefer a well-drained neutral pH soil with plenty of available potassium. When you pick Maestro peas before they are fully mature, you can enjoy their unmatched sweetness!
